Joe Biden Almost Stumbles Getting Off Air Force One (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden is mocked after he almost stumbled as he got off Air Force One on Saturday afternoon.

According to the reports, the President has just arrived in Delaware for a weekend getaway at his beach home after spending most of his Saturday with Democrat Senator John Fetterman when the incident took place.

The recent news comes three weeks after the President stumbled and fell on stage while attending a graduation ceremony for the US Air Force Academy in Colorado earlier this month.

Following the controversial accident, White House officials assured the public that the president is in good health and was unharmed during the incident.

According to the reports, President Biden tripped over a sandbag while handing out diplomas to the graduating cadets at the time. He was quickly helped back onto his feet by an Air Force official and two members of his Secret Service detail.

Despite the fall, the president appeared to be in good spirits and even joked with reporters, saying, “I got sandbagged!” upon his return to the White House.

In addition, footage of the incident also showed President Biden, pointing at one of the sandbags used to support his teleprompter as he was assisted back up. He then walked unassisted back to his seat and later jogged to his motorcade at the end of the ceremony.

White House communications director Ben LaBolt later confirmed on Twitter that President Biden was fine and that there was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre added that the president boarded the plane with a smile, although he did not take questions from reporters before the flight.

Meanwhile, critics have raised concerns about President Biden’s age and fitness for office, with recent polls indicating that a majority of US voters share those concerns. This fall, along with previous incidents such as stumbling on stairs and his bicycle, may contribute to those worries.

Former President Donald Trump, a potential Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election, reacted to the incident during a campaign event in Iowa, expressing hope that President Biden was not hurt.

“I hope he wasn’t hurt. That’s not inspiring. You got to be careful about that because you don’t – you don’t want that. Even if you have to tip toe down the ramp,” Trump said.

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, another potential contender for the Republican nomination, also commented on the fall, wishing President Biden a swift recovery while criticizing his policies.

“We hope and wish Joe Biden a swift recovery from any injuries he may have sustained. But we also wish the United States of America a swift recovery from the injuries it has sustained because of Joe Biden and his policies.” DeSantis said at the time.
