Doomsday mom sparked outrage after she was spotted smirking in a booking photo despite getting five life sentences during her conviction for brutally killing her two children.
After she was sentenced to spend the rest of her life in jail, Lori Vallow Daybell was taken to the Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center.
“With her head tilted slightly to the right and her eyebrow raised, the “Doomsday prepper” appeared to pull back her mouth in a sneer reminiscent of the smile she previously sported in an earlier booking photo following her devastating conviction,” New York Post reported, describing Daybell’s booking photo.
In May, Vallow Daybell was found guilty of abusing her two young kids, identified as 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan.
Vallow also reportedly planned to hurt Tammy Daybell, her husband’s ex-wife. Her current husband, Chad Daybell, was also allegedly involved in the i criminal activities and is currently waiting for his trial for the same crimes.

Prior to the judge’s decision, Vallow said she didn’t do anything wrong, implying that the kids only died accidentally. She also claimed she talked to her dead kids who were in heaven.
“I have had many communications with Jesus Christ, the savior of this world,” she claimed.
“Because of these communications, I know for a fact that my children are happy and busy in the spirit world … [B]ecause of … communications with my friend Tammy Daybell, I know that she is also very happy and extremely busy,” she said in court.” Vallow told the court.
In September 2019, Vallow killed her children, just weeks before Tammy Daybell was killed.
Two weeks after Tammy died, in November 2019, Vallow and Chad got married. The couple then successfully received money from Social Security and life insurance after the killings, according to what the people who investigate said.
Court documents also revealed that they went to Hawaii, but were caught by the police following a report on the children’s disappearance. Later, the police discovered the kids’ burned bodies in a grave near Vallow’s home in Idaho.
Her lawyer argued that Vallow was tricked and manipulated by Clad Daybell to murder her kids and his ex-wife. However, some people claimed that Vallow Daybell talked about these bad ideas herself and even said that her kids and others were like “zombies” controlled by bad spirits.
At the time of writing, Vallow is facing two more cases in Arizona. One is about planning with her brother to hurt her fourth husband, Charles Vallow. He was shot and killed in 2019. The other case is about planning to hurt her niece’s ex-husband, who survived an attack in 2019.
