Trump ROARS Against New COVID Restrictions: WE WILL NOT COMPLY

Former President Donald Trump blasted the Biden administration for its radical new COVID-19 restrictions.

In a video released this week, Trump called for the public to resist the “left-wing lunatic” administration, adding that such measures could be another attempt to rig the 2024 presidential election.

“The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fear-mongering about the new [COVID-19] variants that are coming. Gee wiz, you know what else is coming? An election. They want to restart the COVID hysteria so they can justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal drop boxes, more mail-in ballots, and trillions of dollars in payoffs to their political allies heading into the 2024 election- does that sound familiar?” the former president said.

“These are bad people. These are sick people we are dealing with but to every COVID tyrant who wants to take away our freedom, hear these words- we will not comply. So don’t even think about it. We will not shut down our schools. We will not accept your lockdowns. We will not abide by your mask mandates and we will not tolerate your vaccine mandates,” he continued.

This comes after President Joe Biden recently said that he plans to implement a new mandatory COVID-19 vaccine amid rising cases in the country.

“I signed off this morning on a proposal we have to present to the Congress a request for additional funding for a new vaccine that is necessary, that works,” Biden told reporters on Friday. “It will likely be recommended that everybody get it no matter whether they’ve gotten it before or not.”

As expected, the president’s remarks were met with pushback from scientists and lawmakers, with one professor telling For News that it is “impossible to know what [Biden] is referring to” in his comment.

“There is a new MRNA shot to cover the XBB variant that will also cover the rapidly spreading EG.5 subvariant that descended from it, which will be out in mid-September,” said Dr. Marc Siegel, a professor of medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center. “As far as I know, there are no plans to mandate it.”
