What is Mark Zuckerberg’s “Very Scary” AI Development?!

Mark Zuckerberg just recently talked about his newest idea for AI, or artificial intelligence. Businesses that want to get ahead in growth are talking a lot about AI these days.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg promised to create a very powerful AI system that would be as smart as humans or smarter. Besides that, he said that everyone should be able to use it.

Because the chances are so good and the technology is so important, Zuckerberg said, “We should open source it and make it available to as many people as we can safely do so that everyone can benefit.”

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that they are going to work on making an AI system that is as smart as humans or smarter. He also said it would be open source, which means that coders outside of Meta would be able to use it.

A lot of people are calling this an “irresponsible approach” and saying that their team could be in a lot of danger if they try to make something like this without knowing much about or controlling the AI systems we already have.

She said, “The thought of open-source AGI being released before we have worked out how to regulate these very powerful AI systems is very scary.” Dame Wendy Hall is a professor of computer science at the University of Southampton. Tech like this could do a lot of damage if it got into the wrong hands. It’s so careless of a business to suggest it.”

Dr. Andrew Rogoyski, head of the Institute for People-Centred AI, said, “There are deep and complex arguments about the benefits of open-sourcing current AI models. Pushing that into the realm of AGI could save the world or destroy it.”

Mark Zuckerberg isn’t backing down; he says he will stick to his open-sourcing plan as long as it’s the smart and safe thing to do. But some people have said that making these AI systems public is “a bit like giving people a blueprint to build a nuclear bomb.”

While there isn’t a set date for this AI progress, Zuckerberg has said that production is already underway, and the Meta company has placed orders for AI chips and other tools that could be used in production.
