Are younger people taking advantage of potlucks and get-togethers?!

Having dinner parties and potlucks is a new way for young people to save money on food and cooking dinner.

Going to a nice restaurant for dinner is a common way to spend time with family or friends. However, with prices going up everywhere, it might not be the cheapest way to spend dinner with your family.

Evite just recently said that in the past year, there have been a lot more looks for dinner parties. Younger people are thinking about having their own dinner parties instead of going out to eat. They can make beautiful table settings and save money this way.

Griff Jenkins, a news reporter, didn’t seem to know how young people throw dinner parties. He said, “It’s hard for me to believe this is happening where things are still done the old-fashioned way.” Maybe I’m wrong, and if any Millennials are actually having dinner parties, I’m sorry, but I don’t see it happening.

Many people said the “dinner parties” were bad and that the people who were holding them were either not doing it right or were only doing it to make a pretty picture to share on social media.

“Everything they do is to post on social media,” Kennedy from The Big Weekend Show said. Really, you don’t need to say that because you know that people, especially Gen Z, can only live online.

As Kennedy went on, he said that they might be doing this to post online, but that they are also getting great ideas from Instagram and other sites where interesting things are shared.
