The flu has only recently been found in goats in Minnesota. This is the first time it has been found in dairy cattle. The bird flu has even been seen in polar bears in the summer, and it has also been seen in sea animals.
A few groups that study this say that bird flu started showing up in cattle after it was found that dairy cows were having problems like not being able to milk as much and not wanting to eat. After that, swabs were used to test the animals, and they all came back positive.
There isn’t a lot of study on this topic because most animals that get bird flu do so by eating an infected bird. However, experts have said that it’s possible for the virus to spread from cattle to cattle. People who own cattle are told not to move them and to test them if they do. The government says that the low milk output is not enough to affect the supply, even though the cattle are having a small amount of milk.
