Tennessee Family Missing Nearly 2 Weeks Found

A family was found dead after missing for two weeks in a fallen vehicle Wednesday, based on the authorities’ report.

Jeremy Cook,39, along with his family: 28-year old fiance Johanna Manor and 8 years old daughter Adalicia Manor went missing last January 16, according to FOX17 Nashville news. The authorities who discovered their vehicle near 3700 block, Boston Theta Road in Williamson County said that their bodies were found still inside their crashed truck.

Lt. Mike Doddo told WKRN-TV that the investigators found out that the truck likely hit a patch of ice on a bridge which caused the vehicle to slide and fall into a ravine, 100 feet below.

He also added that the family was believed to have died immediately when the vehicle touched the ravine and no one noticed the car hidden under the wooden ravine.

“The family is devastated. You’ve lost almost an entire generation in one crash, that’s tragic in itself. This is just a tragic weather-related accident,” said the lieutenant.
Local authorities have been searching for the family since January 23 after 8-year-old Adalicia’s biological father filed a missing persons report. The location of the crash vehicle was discovered through a cell phone belonging to the family which pin-pointed the area in Williamson County, based on local reports.
