Tesla CEO Elon Musk exhibited his support for Canadian truckers and other activists’ “freedom convoy” to Ottawa as a form of protest to the vaccine mandates and other COVID-19 measures in the country.
“Canadian truckers rule,” Musk tweeted in his social media account last Thursday, voicing his stand towards the convoy protest that is slowly going international in the news. The CEO also established his dislike with the COVID-19 vaccination and mandates that it represents an “erosion of freedom”, according to his interview in Time Magazine.

Donald Trump Jr. also expressed his support with the initiative, praising Canadian truckers for voicing out their concerns in his statement featured in Fox News.
The movement stands against Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s new vaccine mandate covering truckers crossing the Canada-U.S. border implemented on January 15.
“The small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa, or who are holding unacceptable views that they’re expressing, do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other, who know that following the science and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to continue to ensure our freedoms,” Prime Minister Trudeau said in his statement, condoning the so-called “freedom convoy” protest.
