A Canadian man drived through a group of protesters in the trucker’s Freedom Convoy against COVID-19 vaccine mandate in the country on Friday, currently faces criminal charges.
Winnipeg Police immediately tweeted the incident on Saturday.

“A 42yr old male is facing charges after driving through a group of protesters that were part of the Freedom Convoy at the Legislative grounds. 4 adult males were struck,” according to the tweet.
The police also confirmed that the man driving a Jeep Patriot plowed through the crowd and immediately maxed out his speed. The police in the area chased and arrested the man after a brief struggle.
According to the reports, three people have sustained minor injuries in the incident while the fourth one was treated in a hospital and was later on released.
“A 42-year-old male from Headingly, Manitoba, faces charges of: Assault with Weapon x 4, Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Cause Bodily Harm x 2, Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance, Fail to Stop After Accident Knowing That Reckless x 2, Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident x 2,” the police reported.
A graphic video of the incident had already circulated on social media.
