FL Gov Considers Sending CPS To People Exposing Children To Drag Shows

In a homosexual club in Oak Lawn, a suburb of Dallas, an event was hosted on Saturday night. Children were brought up onto the catwalk and danced with the males in drag. Parents in attendance with their children urged their youngsters to tip the drag queens for their sexualized acts as seen in a viral video.

In response to this, Child Protective Services may be sent to anyone who exposes children to drag performances, according to Republican Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida.

During a Wednesday morning press briefing, DeSantis was questioned about a bill that would prohibit minors from attending drag shows.

“There are laws in place to safeguard children. In the United States, there are laws against the endangerment of minors.” According to DeSantis, his team is now researching the legislation.

“Parents’ Rights in Education (PRIDE) was fought because of a drive to introduce gender ideology into primary schools, and my position is that our schools ought to be teaching these kids to read and write and add and subtract and do the things that are supposed to be done in school,” DeSantis said.

“Injecting these objectives into it is inappropriate, and that’s why we did the Parent’s Rights and Education law,” he continued.

Social media users were angered by videos and photographs from a drag show event that took place in Dallas earlier this week. On the other hand, liberals supported it, accusing the opponents of intolerance and discrimination against those with different lifestyle choices.

“When I was a youngster, that was a no-no. Everyone once agreed on this,” DeSantis said. “Now it appears that there is a deliberate effort to expose children to content that is not acceptable for their age.”

If former President Trump decides not to compete for re-election in 2024, DeSantis is largely expected to be the Republican Party’s nominee.

Attendees at the briefing gave him resounding approval for his call for Florida to become a “family-friendly state.”

A person’s thoughts are difficult to grasp when they joyfully assist in the destruction of children’s innocence and what happened on Saturday was short from family-friendly. DeSantis maybe right with his new legislation.
