Cops are growing frustrated with the Biden administration antagonizing the police amid rising crime rate across the U.S.
Being a police officer is one of the hardest jobs you can have yet leftist media outlets are pushing a false narrative that is villainizing them.
Joe Gamaldi, Vice President of the Fraternal Order of Police, claimed that the reason crime is at an all-time high is because law enforcement officers are getting ambushed more frequently due to leftist Democratic policies.
“I would say that most police officers don’t believe that Joe Biden is on their side,” Gamaldi said during an interview on Wednesday’s Just the News, Not Noise. “Just when I think that they can’t coddle criminals any more than they do, they come out with a policy like this. Just when I think they can’t neuter our ability to enforce the law, they come out with something like this.”
The union vice president then went on to explain that the criminal justice policies that are put in place in blue-ran cities are actually the ones that harm minorities the most.
“When you have these people pushing these horrific policies, they don’t give a damn about the community. It’s agenda over people,” he added .“Our communities are fed up. They’re pissed off. They want safe streets.”
Democratic-led cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Portland are still experiencing a spike in murders, with LA homicides rising to 53 percent and shootings to 24 percent in just two years.
In related news, Republican prosecutor Melissa Nelson of Florida has helped reduce murders by 30 percent and shootings went down by 17 percent in 2021, compared to 2020.
Nelson’s plan includes tying gun violence with the display of weapons in musical videos and seeking harsh punishment for those involved in violent gun crimes, which has led to low homicide rates, compared to the nearby areas and other states.
“After experiencing a substantial downturn in violent gun crime in 2021, we continue to work together to combat violent crime in hopes that this trend continues,” Nelson, told reporters. “Currently, we remain on par with last year’s numbers. Improving public safety and fighting violent crime remains a top priority for our office and law enforcement partners.”
The National Police Association has shown approval of the prosecutor’s aggressive plan, saying that the statistics show that her policies are working.
