President Joe Biden announced on Wednesday that he is appointing MSNBC pundit Jeremy Bash to the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board despite credibility concerns following the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.
Bash, who was Chief of Staff at the CIA and the U.S. Department of Defense under former President Barack Obama, was one of the 51 people who signed the infamous letter claiming that the Hunter laptop was likely “Russian disinformation.”
“This looks like Russian intelligence. This walks like Russian intelligence. This talks like Russian intelligence,” he explained on MSNBC two years ago. “This effort by Rudy Giuliani and the New York Post and Steve Bannon to cook up supposed dirt on Joe Biden looks like a classic Russian playbook disinformation campaign.”
The national security analyst also called the leaked emails “mysteriously created” and claimed they were “probably hacked through a Russian intelligence operation.”
“At a minimum, it’s conspiracy to engage in computer crimes and hacking in violation of criminal laws,” he said to Rachel Maddow at the time. “It’s also potentially a conspiracy to engage in election interference.”
Hunter’s laptop has unraveled many dark truths about the Biden family, including shady business dealings with China.
A 2018 voicemail discovered on that laptop revealed that Biden knew about his disgraced son’s corrupt criminal activity.
“Hey pal, it’s Dad. It’s 8:15 on Wednesday night. If you have a chance, give me a call. Nothing urgent—I just wanted to talk with you,” Biden is heard saying in a voicemail. “I thought the article released online, it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you’re clear.”
Following the shocking audio leak, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said that he is looking for ways to investigate the Biden family’s business ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
“We have uncovered some answers, but many questions remain,” McCarthy wrote. “In November, the American people will decide whether they accept being told what information they are allowed to know by a colluding media, including who is making policy decisions for this country and for whose interests. A Republican majority will be committed to uncovering the facts the Democrats, Big Tech and the legacy media have suppressed.”
