Florida AG Ashley Moody blasted President Joe Biden for his failure to handle the southern border crisis.
During an interview with Fox News on Tuesday, Moody called Biden a liar and exposed the truth about the White House’s disaster.
“One part you didn’t see there, he testified these policies that are encouraging this incredible surge into our country are putting Americans and migrants more at risk,” she said. “I saw when Alejandro Mayorkas testified before Congress, blatant mistruth, he was making false statements.”
“We said, ‘we know you say you are managing the border, we have a document that says the opposite’ and yesterday the White House press secretary said people are not just walking in, I felt compelled to share this,” she continued.
This comes as the Customs and Border Protection announced last month that the southern border had 199,976 migrant encounters in July, totaling 1.946 million migrant encounters this year.
Based on the projected data, the total count of illegal immigrants encountered for this year has already crossed the two million mark, the highest it has ever been even though the fiscal year is yet to be completed.
“It is absolutely happening and it is not slightly increasing, these are numbers that are historic, we’ve never seen anything like this, just in fiscal year, close to 3 million than 2 million just in encountered at the border and that is about the population of North Dakota, South Dakota and Delaware combined in one fiscal year,” Moody said.
“I know they want to deny, deny, deny, deny, no recession or inflation, there is not a surge at the border, somebody needs to expose this. The administration is being dishonest purposefully and I’m proud to do it, stand up for the truth because it is important,” she added.
The U.S. has been seeing massive migrant numbers since the Biden administration announced last April that he would be lifting “Title 42,” a controversial border policy implemented by former President Donald Trump back in March 2020 that allowed the border agency to turn migrants away.
Despite Biden’s continued insistence that the border is “closed,” a new poll conducted by left-wing media outlet NPR found that a whopping 54 percent of Americans believe the president has purposely created the crisis at the border and is doing nothing to stop it.
