Conservative Hollywood star Jon Voight released a powerful video condemning the FBI for its uncalled raid on former President Donald Trump’s private residence at Mar-a-Lago last month.
In the nearly two-minute video, Voight slammed the FBI’s hypocrisy in treating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama one way and Trump another.
“Did they ever attack Obama’s home or Clinton’s? the actor asked. “And why not? Because President Trump knows that the swamp are all lies and he once drowned them, and they’re all afraid you will see the truths. Wake up America, see this lie.”
He then claimed that Democrats have turned the situation into a war with its ridiculous attacks on Trump, stating: “My friends, the deceit will surely die, for no man shall turn truths for their ego, for their unrighteousness. Because our witness will surely condemn this war. The third world war. Yes, it’s been turned into a war.”
Voight ended his video by reiterating his support for Trump and calling for Americans to stand by him.
“This is America and my fellow Americans, I’m proud to be an American, and I know that we will be saved, that there is a plan,” he exclaimed. “That the one president who had our true trust was President Donald Trump, and he will do it all over again. With the prayers, the hope, the love, the trust of all the American people once again, may God watch over all and make this land great again.”
The unprecedented search of Trump’s home comes as the investigation into his time in office and private business escalates. Any search of a private residence would have to be approved by a judge after the investigating law enforcement agency demonstrated probable cause that the search was justified.
Trump and his legal team have already filed a motion last month seeking an independent review of the records seized by authorities.
“They demanded that the security cameras be turned off, a request we rightfully denied. They prevented my attorneys from observing what was being taken in the raid, saying ‘absolutely not,'” he said in a statement. “They took documents covered by attorney-client and executive privilege, which is not allowed. They took my passports. They even brought a ‘safe cracker’ and successfully broke into my personal safe, which revealed… nothing!”
Trump is the only former president to be raided by the FBI, including Obama, who Trump has alleged was a part of spying on his 2016 presidential campaign against Clinton.
