Following months of rampant inflation, US President Joe Biden has become the sole person to point fingers as to why Americans’ wallets are getting smaller; nevertheless, he has not yet accepted any responsibility for decreasing incomes.
In spite of Biden’s assurance that he has made “progress” in battling rising prices, the White House scrambled to find an explanation on Thursday after recently published statistics showed that consumer prices increased by 8.2 percent over the previous year in September.
Biden claims that even if there is still more work to be done, today’s report indicates some success in the fight against rising costs. An annualized rate of 2% was the average for the past three months for inflation. This was down from 11% in the previous quarter.
Two months ago, Biden signed the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act,” but it doesn’t seem to have made a difference in terms of slowing the increase in prices.
Biden is under fire from Ortiz for the suffering he has caused to countless hard-working Americans and company owners.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, inflation increased by 6.6 percent year over year, setting a new 40-year high.
The CEO claimed that Biden was given a steady economy, but instead of stepping aside, he brought about a disaster that will require years to resolve.
“Biden was handed an economy in recovery; all he had to do was get out of the way,” Ortiz said in a statement.
“Instead, he has blown through enormous sums of money, attempting to leave behind a pathetic legacy, sparking an inflation catastrophe in the process. If there’s anything Americans will be thinking about come November, it will be the economy. The recession is his genuine legacy, “he added.
