Biden THREATENS The Second Amendment Once Again

President Joe Biden is once again calling on his constituents to ban assault weapons after a recent string of mass shootings in the U.S.

Speaking to reporters during Thanksgiving, Biden reiterated his support for stricter gun laws, saying that it is “ridiculous” that red flag laws are not being enforced throughout the country.

“The idea [that] we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick. It’s just sick. It has no, no socially redeeming value. Zero. None. Not a single, solitary rationale for it except profit for the gun manufacturers,” the president said.

Biden was then asked if he would attempt to sign new gun laws despite Republicans, many of whom oppose such an idea, gaining control of the House next year.

“I’m going to try. I’m going to try to get rid of assault weapons,” he responded.

Many conservative personalities on social media blasted the president’s plan and called out the absurdity of his proposal.

“So essentially all guns are on the Big Guy’s chopping block,” tweeted Hollywood actor James Woods tweeted.

“Wow. Are there any guns Biden would not ban?” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton asked.

Biden previously renewed his call for an assault weapons ban following a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs.

“We must address the public health epidemic of gun violence in all of its forms. Earlier this year, I signed the most significant gun safety law in nearly three decades, in addition to taking other historic actions. But we must do more. We need to enact an assault weapons ban to get weapons of war off America’s streets,” he said.

This comes after 22-year-old Anderson Lee Aldrich opened fire at Club Q on Nov. 19, leaving five people dead and at least 25 others injured.

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, who is the first openly gay man elected governor in U.S. history, called the attack “horrific, sickening, and devastating” in a statement.

“My heart breaks for the family and friends of those lost, injured, and traumatized in this horrific shooting,” Polis said. “Colorado stands with our LGTBQ community and everyone impacted by this tragedy as we mourn together.
