First Lady Breaks Silence On Husband Campaigning For President Again

First Lady Jill Biden broke her silence on her husband, President Joe Biden, running for a second term in 2024, according to reports.

Jill, who had previously expressed reservations about her husband’s presidential run in 2024, has now declared that she is “all in” for a 2024 campaign.

“Jill Biden is the one more aware of how the last few years have affected Joe. We, collectively, as a country, all know the age issue, sure. But she’s the one who is consistently able to analyze it,” sources told CNN.

“She’s the one who thinks about every possible scenario that could play out for her family,” another source revealed.

During an interview with Jonathan Capehart on MSNBC in October, Biden was asked whether he had put any more thought into running for a second term, to which he replied that he had not yet made any concrete plans.

Jill, however, didn’t seem to be as sure since she sat in silence for a few moments before responding to Capehart’s question.

“I have not made that formal decision but it’s my intention… to run again and we’ll have time to make that decision,” Jill said.

Capehart then asked the president if “Dr. Biden is for it?” which led to a long pause before the host followed up with, “Mr. President?”

“Dr. Biden thinks that — my wife thinks that — that we’re doing something very important and that I shouldn’t walk away from it,” Biden said.

Voters are also showing serious concerns for Biden’s age and health, as an October survey found that 64 percent of Americans, including 50 percent of Democrats, said they were “concerned” about the president’s mental health.

The White House, meanwhile, has repeatedly downplayed concerns when asked about the U.S. president’s physical and mental capabilities. During an interview with CNN last June, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dismissed criticisms about his well-being as “hearsay” and “not what we care about.”

Biden became the oldest individual ever elected to serve in the White House, and he could break the record should he decide to seek re-election in 2024.
