Last year’s midterm elections in November brought disappointing results for Republicans. One state that didn’t fare as the Republican Party hoped was the Grand Canyon state, which is Arizona.
The governor’s race has sparked particular controversy, with Republican candidate Kari Lake accusing her opponent, Katie Hobbs, of widespread voter fraud. Lake is now under indictment over her allegations.
On Monday, Jan. 30, Arizona Secretary-elect Adrian Fontes, and also a well-known drug cartel defense attorney from Mexico, asked AZ Attorney General Kris Mayes to investigate the legitimacy of Kari Lake’s campaign claims.
On February 1, the Arizona Court of Appeals begins the Lake case, in which it will bring to light the truth regarding contesting election fraud.
Mayes recently said that the Election Integrity Unit will be a place to ensure that voting is free, fair, and free from fraud. Mayes said this council will fight all those who intimidate the election process and try to do things like take out mail-in ballots.
That puts at risk not only fraudulent elections but good people’s votes, according to Mayes and the leadership.
Fontes’ request mentions Lake Kari’s tweet exposing widespread mail fraud and shows a photo that allegedly contains several fraudulent ballots.
What Lake actually did was expose evidence of at least some voter fraud. Was it as widespread as he claimed? Maybe not, but it certainly existed.

According to Fontes, Lake violated ARS16-168(f). Democrats want Mayes to go to extremes with Lake.

The allegations of electoral fraud are no joke, it’s true. Lake never meant any of this as a joke and that’s why the left is still determined to go after her.
They want to intimidate and ruin your life so that anyone else who tries to talk about their fraud keeps their mouths shut, instead of having their reputation and family harassed.
Now we’ll just have to watch and see how this all plays out, but it’s clear that the crusade against America First, Trump, and supporters like Lake is alive and well.
As for Arizona, Hobbs is already ruining the state with his far-left policies.
