Adding that he had warned the president and told him to think about the bills he was signing and the country’s view of the government as a whole, he went on.
“People from the generation that I come from and that you come from wrote a lot of these bills and executive orders,” he said. “John Kennedy thought about what you could do for your country instead of what your country could do for you.”
