Another 150 Immigrants In Tractor Trailer Rescued Before Entering US

On Wednesday, the United States Border Patrol said an additional 150 illegal immigrants were discovered hidden inside a tractor-trailer in Mexico. Almost two months later, 53 illicit immigrants perished in a hot Texas vehicle-at least 27 Mexicans, 7 Guatemalans, and 2 Hondurans were killed.

The tractor-trailer was parked on the crumbling pavement of Quintana Road, a trash-strewn urban wasteland between railroad tracks and junkyards. The vehicle’s back doors were open and dangling, and numerous bodies littered the hot pavement for a reasonable distance.

The 150  migrants may be squeezed into the back of an 18-wheeler in a photograph made public by the Border Patrol. The heat forced several guys in the snap to remove their shirts.

When Mexican officials stopped the vehicle, neither the temperature inside nor whether nor not it had ventilation was known at the time.

According to a tweet by Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens of the Border Patrol, “This strategy has shown to be a lethal approach that smugglers deploy.” “We are fortunate that nobody in this vast group needs medical help.

He did not provide the time when the vehicle was stopped.

Inside truck trailers like this, illegal immigrants have been known to be smuggled into Texas by criminal groups.

In June, officials in San Antonio, Texas, made what is being termed the worst smuggling effort in the history of the United States when they discovered 53 bodies of immigrants stuffed into the back of a hot and stuffy large rig.

The death toll rose to 53 after more immigrants died in the hospital when their hearts stopped multiple times, according to a bishop who visited the immigrants after the truck was discovered on the outskirts of San Antonio. Initially, 46 immigrants were declared dead when the truck was found in San Antonio. The death toll later rose to 53 after more immigrants died in the hospital.

Two men from Texas have been charged with murder concerning the deaths of multiple victims, including the driver who officials say was under the influence of methamphetamine while transporting immigrants from Laredo to San Antonio.
