Asleep At The Wheel – Another Tesla Driver Caught Snoozing

Another driver was caught sleeping inside a Tesla as leftists continue to push their green agenda involving electric vehicles (EVs).

In the video, a woman can be seen apparently snoozing while traveling along northbound Interstate 5 near the Griffith Park section of Los Angeles, California, on Thursday.

“She is dead asleep, bro! That is so funny,” fellow motorist Joshua Cadena, who recorded the clip, says to a friend.

A few moments later, the female Tesla driver wakes up from her nap and lifts her head. “Well, she’s up now,” Cadena’s friend remarks.

The incident comes a week after another Tesla owner was spotted driving on Interstate 15 near Temecula, California, with their eyes closed.

Viral video captured by eyewitness Kiki Dolas shows a woman driving her white Tesla while dozing off to the right.

“She is out, sleeping, completely knocked out,” Dolas says off camera. “And this car is driving her. Look at how dangerous that is, you guys. I’m sorry, that is too damn dangerous!”

EVs are currently under scrutiny due to their unsafe features, with many reports of such vehicles suddenly exploding. Late last year, a Tesla vehicle in Pennsylvania burst into flames after debris got beneath the car.

Firefighters reportedly ran through thousands of gallons of water to extinguish the inferno incident with the EV, noting that around 12,000 gallons of water were used.

Despite their dangers, the Biden administration is still resilient in pushing its green agenda to the common folk. Democratic California lawmakers last year moved to require all new vehicles in the state to run on electricity by 2035 in the hopes of cutting emissions from cars in half by 2040.

The California Air Resources Board has also proposed requiring medium- and heavy-duty trucks to be fully electric by the year 2035.

However, critics have blasted the Biden administration for giving a “false impression” about EVs, noting that they are expensive and often unreliable.

“[The EV push] is really kind of a con job,” said Myron Ebell, the director of the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Center for Energy and Environment. “It may be a good deal for some people in some places under some circumstances. But by-and-large right now, it’s not a good deal.”
