Former President Barack Obama is causing some stir after being spotted tapping his wife Michelle Obama’s buttocks during their trip to Greece this week.
According to the Greek City Times, the couple traveled to Greece with their two daughters to work with the Obama Foundation in Athens. They met with 105 members of their program.
“Michelle and I started the @ObamaFoundation to support the next generation of leaders creating sustainable change in their communities,” the former president tweeted. “This week, I’ll be joining our Obama Leaders in Greece where we’ll share ideas and dive deeper into the work they’re doing.”
The Obamas were later spotted doing some sightseeing on Wednesday, where Barack can be seen getting handsy with Michelle’s butt as he helped her up the staircase.

The story received wild responses on social media, with many pointing out the tameness of the situation as even newsworthy.
“Ain’t that what he’s [supposed] to do??? I mean gotta keep the relationship going y’all just report anything,” one Twitter user said in response to TMZ’s tweet.
My husband taps my butt all the time. Barack and Michelle are a happily married couple – they should enjoy each other,” another user shared.
The former presidential couple have been traveling a lot lately. Most recently, Michele sang backup for rock legend Bruce Springsteen.
While attending Springsteen and the E Street Band’s concert in Barcelona back in April, the former first lady joined the rock musician onstage for at least one song with a tambourine in hand.
Videos on social media show Springsteen and his band jamming with the former first lady while they perform “Glory Days.” Additional footage also shows Michele dancing in the audience with her husband.
The Obamas and Springsteen have also recently traveled to Spain with filmmaker Steven Spielberg and his wife, actress Kate Capshaw, who also sang a little backup during the concert.
This comes as Michele recently addressed rumors about possibly running for president in 2024, saying that she dislikes being asked about running for president.
“Are you going to run for president? I detest it,” she said during an interview with the BBC last year, insisting that she’s “not going to run.”
