Baseball Team Funneling Money for Trans Surgeries for Kids

Nate Hochman of National Review reveals that Detroit Tigers Fans can now donate the money on irreversible trans surgeries for children through ticket sales.

According to Hochman, the fans who purchased tickets for the “Pride Night” event this year will be given options to choose which support groups they want to pick as beneficiaries.

He also added that the money the fans regularly give to the organization will now benefit local LGBTQ groups such as the Trans Sistas of Color Project and the Ruth Ellis Center. Both support groups directly or indirectly provide “gender-affirming surgery” to those under 18.

In Trans Sistas of Color Project website, the group refers to “Trans Minor Rights” and boasts that the group’s funding recipients perform “chest reconstruction and/or genital reassignment surgery.”

On the other hand, Ruth Ellis Center offers “transition care for transgender youth,” including surgery.

In addition, the center also claimed in its official statement that “there are a lot of barriers especially for people under 18 that still exist for accessing puberty blockers and gender-affirming hormones. This is a huge problem.”

While there are some who support the movement, many also saw this as a huge problem.

“The problem is the genital mutilation of children, but the Tigers don’t seem to care about that.” The Fox News noted.

Reports also noted that the providers of the Major League Baseball organization may not be aware that they’re providing funds to help fund the surgeries.

“Are Tigers fans aware that this is where their money is going?” Hochman wonders.

It is also unknown whether the Trans Sistas of Color or the Ruth Ellis Center are planning to explain the movement to fans where their funds may be directed.

The Detroit Tigers will host a special “Pride Night” game on June 1 to celebrate the pride community at Comerica Park.

“In an earlier era, “Pride Night” could feasibly be pitched as a basic gay-acceptance event, meant to celebrate the integration of same-sex couples into American public life.” Hochman noted.

But LGBT activism has galloped to the left in recent years, and the groups that the Tigers are aligned with are no exception. Many of the groups that the Tigers are funneling ticket money to are actively promoting transgender identification or even medical transitions for children.” He added.
