As America falls apart thanks to the Biden administration’s failed policies, President Joe Biden continues to go on vacation while ignoring his Oval Office duties.
On Friday, the White House celebrated the passage of $6 billion in taxpayer money on AIDS and HIV research and prevention. The massive party included champagne and a star-studded performance from Elton John himself.
The event stood in contrast to the worsening southern border crisis, in which the Customs and Border Protection reported that migrant encounters have reached the two-million mark this fiscal year, breaching the already-historic 1.7 million encounters last year.
While Biden insists that the border is “closed,” a new poll conducted by left-wing media outlet NPR found that a whopping 54 percent of Americans believe the president has purposely created the crisis at the border and is doing nothing to stop it.
Biden has also downplayed the economic crisis despite the release of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data earlier this month that showed a 12-month inflation rate of 8.3 percent.
During an interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes,” he claimed that inflation “hasn’t spiked” over the past several months and that the month-over-month rate of change in inflation was relatively small.
On the day the latest CPI data was released, the president celebrated the passing of the Inflation Reduction Act despite a negative inflation report. More than a thousand people were crammed onto the south lawn of the White House as Democrats praised the so-called “good job” they have done since taking over the White House.
“Mr. President, thank you for unifying and inspiring a vision of a stronger, fairer, safer future for all our children. Your extraordinary leadership has made this glorious day possible,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.
A few days later, Biden was seen attending the Detroit Auto Show, where the president got to spin expensive vehicles even as the country braces for yet another hike in gas prices.
“Jump in. I’ll give you a ride to Washington,” the president quipped at reporters while driving a Cadillac Lyric worth $63,000 around a convention center showroom, adding “it’s an Uber!”
You would have to be blind to not see that the country is crumbling at the moment, but that doesn’t seem important to Biden, as it appears he would much prefer to enjoy himself while Americans suffer from his irresponsible fiddling.
