President Joe Biden has worked to improve the health of women because Vice President Kamala Harris made it a priority for the Biden campaign. After signing the order, Biden talked to the Republican Party and told them that they “have no idea the power of women” but are “about to find out” because the election is coming up soon in November.
There is a big gap in studies because women’s health has been one of the least paid and studied areas of healthcare. It wasn’t until the 1990s that the government first paid for studies into women’s health.
“We still know too little about how to effectively prevent, diagnose, and treat a wide range of health conditions in women,” said Dr. Carolyn Mazure, who is in charge of the White House initiative on women’s health.
To find out how men and women are different when it comes to some illnesses, Biden has promised to increase study into women’s health. He has also said that he will focus on equal representation for women.
Biden said, “To state the obvious, women make up half of the population and are underrepresented everywhere.” But not in my government.”
Besides that, he talked about the “power of research” and how he has always thought it was the best way to save lives. Throughout his campaign and right up until election day, Biden has been pushing the idea that women should be included. His wife, First Lady Jill Biden, is also encouraging women to vote in this election.

This gave politicians a new issue to talk about in their campaigns and gave people a new reason to pick one party over another.
