President Joe Biden further worried the American people with his comments during a sit-down interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle.
His incoherent response to a question in the initial thirty seconds of the interview got the people confused.
Biden asserted that negative news was to blame for his low popularity ratings, despite polling data suggesting that Americans are wary of his age.
“Well, I don’t think people — and by the way, every major candidate who won re-election had polling numbers similar to mine at the time of their victories,” Biden falsely stated.
In a report from Ipsos/Reuters polls, Biden’s approval rating is 39% and his disapproval rating is 54%.
“Historically, all incumbents with an approval rating of 50% or higher have won reelection, and presidents with approval ratings much lower than 50% have lost.” as indicated in Gallup poll’s 2020 article.

“Polling aside, then, sentiment in this country, despite all these wins, is not very good.” Ruhle inserted.
“All they’ve heard is negative news for three years. Everything is negative. I’m not being critical of the press. You turn on the television, the only way you’re going to get a hit is if it’s something negative,” Biden replied.
Biden implied that people have been bombarded with negative news and that it is difficult to find positive stories on television or other forms of media. Biden is not criticizing the press but is rather highlighting the fact that negative news tends to grab attention more than positive news.
According to Pew Research, Biden received a much lower negative assessment from news organizations compared to previous presidents such as Trump, Obama, Bush, and Clinton. Despite governing over record inflation, gas price increases, a continuing border problems, a failed retreat from the Afghan War, unlawful proxy conflicts, and an impending economic slump, Biden has received the least unfavorable publicity of any modern president.
As the oldest president in US history, Biden also addressed concerns about his suitability for office and his plan to seek re-election.
“I’ve acquired a hell of a lot of wisdom and know more than the vast majority of people. I’m more experienced than anybody who has ever run for the office. And I think I’ve proven myself to be honorable as well as effective,” Biden answered.
Biden has spent his entire career in public service, including two terms as vice president in addition to seven decades in the Senate.
Regarding performing one’s duties “honorably,” the Biden administration is beset by a number of moral problems. There are significant problems with Biden’s involvement in the business dealings of his son Hunter Biden. There is the crisis surrounding his documents, which contrasts with the FBI’s search of former President Donald Trump who has less troubling activities.
Furthermore, there is proof that the White House colluded with the Department of Justice to help the Manhattan District Attorney bring charges against the former president Trump before the 2024 election, which is considered “election interference.”
