Congressman Accuses Joe Biden Of Treason

Republican Florida Rep. Greg Steube is accusing President Joe Biden of treason over his alleged involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings.

Speaking on “The Benny Show” with podcaster Benny Johnson, Steube said that the findings in the Hunter investigation were “treasonous activity.”

“I 100% believe it rises to the level of treason,” he said. “And I hope if a Republican, God willing, wins the presidency in 2024 after he is out whether it is impeachment or getting beat at the ballot box in 2024 that they will move forward with charges like that.

“And in having control of the DOJ and the FBI from the presidential side, a new Republican administration that’s going to get rid of all these jokers like Jake Sullivan and the like, and put people in there that care about our country,” the congressman continued. “I don’t think you could give others examples of evidence that you’ve given and laid out that Joe Biden and his family has done to use their political position to get money.”

“And you know that the position we’re taking right now in China is the position we’re taking on Ukraine,” he added. “They were involved in getting millions from Ukraine, and we wonder why Joe Biden supported giving 160 billion dollars of your tax dollars to Ukrainians.”

Steube is one of many Republican lawmakers calling for the investigation into Biden, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who recently said that the findings pertaining to Hunter invoking his father to pressure a Chinese business partner through WhatsApp are subject to impeachment.

“Look, this WhatsApp is direct evidence of Joe Biden abusing his government power to enrich his son, and, assuming 10% for the big guy, to enrich himself,” Cruz said in his podcast last month.

“Remember, this WhatsApp says ‘we want to know.’ This is not just me, Hunter, just mooching off my dad…. Of course the House needs to investigate it, but the stunning thing is what the IRS whistleblower says is [Department of Justice], Merrick Garland prevented an investigation even into this message,” he continued.

Cruz also talked about allegations made by a whistleblower from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which House Republicans made public this week. The IRS whistleblower claimed that there had been unprecedented efforts to thwart investigations into Biden during the 2020 campaign and into his presidency.
