Conservative Country Star Dominates the Charts – Beats Woke Taylor Swift

Country singer John Rich dominated the music charts, beating “woke” artists like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.

This week, Rich’s new song with fellow conservative rapper Tom MacDonald called “End of the World” took the top spot on the iTunes “all-genre” chart, outselling the aforementioned woke singers and even Nashville country star Morgan Wallen.

“You don’t come across that many country-rap collaborations in the music world. But sometimes a cross-pollination yields an unqualified hit. Such is the case with the new single ‘End of the World,’” Breitbart reported.

“Ends of the World” is a mix of country and rap with lyrics that reflect the current state of the country right now.

“The song is anti-establishment to its core, warning about the evils posed by big corporations, big government, the military industrial complex, and the wokeness consuming the culture. As the title spells out, the song’s outlook is fundamentally pessimistic. Alternating voices in their respective music styles, MacDonald and Rich prophesy an apocalyptic scenario that feels inevitable but also avoidable, if only the right people take action soon enough,” the news outlet described the song.

Rich has been vocally against the Biden administration as well as the “woke” culture that plagues today’s entertainment industry. In an interview with “Just the News, Not Noise,” last year, he discussed how the industry no longer backs him following the release of his song, “Progress.”

“I don’t have the backing of the country music industry really much anymore. And that’s okay. I would rather have my freedom of speech than their approval any day of the week,” he said.

The country star also blasted the administration for its continued mishandling of the economy, which led to his inspiration to write “Progress.”

“I would not call that gas price progress. I would not call the grocery prices progress. I would not call fentanyl in all of our neighborhoods progress. I would not call the border being wide open progress,” he continued. “If that’s progress, they can stick it where the sun don’t shine — which is a really nice PG way of saying you know what.”
