Conservative country singer Jason Aldean and his beautiful wife Brittany mocked the mainstream media by putting out a hilarious Halloween skit.
In the two-minute video, the couple pretends to be Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningstone from “Anchorman” while mocking mainstream media.
“We are 80% of the time unbiased 100% of the time,” they said in the video.
This comes after Brittany made an Instagram reel joking about gender and being a tomboy in August, saying: “I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life.”
To which left-leaning singer-songwriter Maren Morris responded: “It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”
Brittany then clapped back in an Instagram story: “Some parents want to be accepted by society so badly that they’re willing to make life-altering decisions for their children who aren’t old enough to comprehend the consequences of their actions fully.”
Morris, who wouldn’t calm down about Brittany’s harmless joke, later threatened to boycott the Country Music Awards.
“I’m very honored that my record is nominated,” Morris said in an interview with Variety. “But I don’t know if I feel [at] home there right now. So many people I love will be in that room, and maybe I’ll make a game-time decision and go. But as of right now, I don’t feel comfortable going.”
Following Brittany’s gender joke, Aldean’s PR team The GreenRoom parted ways with Jason in September.
“Music has always been and remains The GreenRoom’s core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason,” GreenRoom co-owner Tyne Parrish said in a statement. “We aren’t the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music—he is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music.”
In the Aldeans’ Halloween skit, Brittany referenced her controversial Instagram post.
“Apparently, according to Brittany’s recent tweet, she hates all animals. It’s based on the tweet that said ‘I love dogs.’ Sounds like a PR nightmare,” she said as Veronica.
Conservative celebrities have been the subject of hatred as Hollywood continues to push its woke ideologies into the media.
