Dem Hire Army Of IRS Agents To Squeeze Taxpayers For Green New Deal

Despite Democrats’ claim that the “American Rescue Plan” wouldn’t fuel inflation and was needed for an economy already in quick recovery, inflation soared and gas prices skyrocketed.

America has now entered a period of economic stagnation, with the majority of the country believing we are already in a recession.

Rather than working together on pro-growth and counter-inflationary policies, Democrats continued to make things worse by passing the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act of 2022,” which experts say does nothing to curb inflation and offers higher taxes, more spending, higher prices, and an army of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents.

The newly passed reconciliation bill would allocate $80 billion to the IRS, including $46.6 billion for tax enforcement and audit activities.

The tax reserve previously outlined that it would use the funding to hire 86,852 full-time employees, and specifically referenced “hiring and training agents dedicated to complex enforcement activities.” Such hiring would unnecessarily militarize the IRS.

The IRS’s success rate has also been below 47 percent over the past twenty years, which makes it unfit to handle such a task. More often, the IRS asserts tax deficiencies exist, with the courts disagreeing, which is hardly evidence of a multitude of tax cheats.

Rather, it proves innocent taxpayers are often subjected to unnecessary and inappropriate scrutiny. They will be helped to an even greater extent by nearly 87,000 new IRS employees whose mission will be to squeeze revenue out of American taxpayers.

A couple of cattle ranchers in Texas were already audited by the IRS following the passage of the Democrats’ plan and warned that the revenue service will audit anybody they want, even hard-working average joes like them.

“We got audited over basically a $7,800 engine rebuild on a very old tractor,” said Deborah Hajda during an interview on Fox News. “They just basically said this was a red flag, and we’re going to audit you, and we’re coming to your house.”

Luckily, patriots such as Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo are fighting against the IRS by introducing a bill that prevents them from using any of the supersized $80 billion of funding for audits on hard-working American taxpayers, individuals, and small businesses with taxable incomes below $400,000

As the economy continues to plummet, thanks to the Biden administration’s failed policies, Americans should be very concerned, and brace for more audits, investigations, and tax enforcement on taxpayers of all income levels.
