Democrats scramble to reverse Covid-19 restrictions, lifting lockdown and mask mandates as this year’s midterm elections loom.
While this year’s midterm elections are quickly approaching, Democrats at every level started reversing Covid-restrictions, lifting all covid-19-related mandates and restrictions as a recent poll shows how Americans wanted to move on from the pandemic.
In a poll released by Monmouth University, 70% of Americans want the federal government to lift COVID-related mandates and restrictions and move on from the Pandemic.

The poll also revealed President Biden’s approval ratings on handling COVID, are also now underwater with 53% disapproving, and 43% approving.
This came after Biden implemented the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations for universal masking indoors and in schools.
However, several Democrats are going against the CDC’s recommendation and started rolling back coronavirus restrictions and signaled their support for returning to normal.
Just recently, NYC Gov. Kathy Hochul has decided to end her state’s COVID-19 mandate that requires people to use face masks in most indoor public settings but will keep it for schools
Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee also announced that his state will end its indoor vaccine-or-mask requirement this week.
Following the sudden lift for Covid-related mandates, Rep. Ralph Norman posted a tweet and slammed Democrats for their decisions.
“Funny how Democrats across the country are getting rid of mask mandates all at once. It’s like there’s an election coming soon.” Norman said.
“Democrats are lifting mask mandates and lockdown restrictions ONLY because they are worried about the midterm elections. Let’s be clear: the data on masking and vaccines didn’t change, the polling for Democrats did.” Congresswoman Debbie Lesko also tweeted.
