House Democrats on Tuesday blocked Republicans’ efforts to collect documents related to Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings.
In a 23-19 vote, Dems on the Oversight Committee were able to stop a Republican resolution that would have ordered the Biden administration to turn over documents about the Biden family’s overseas business deals.
Are we surprised?

House Democrats Kill Resolution to Investigate Hunter Biden https://t.co/FZDDgiup1A via @BreitbartNews
Among the GOP lawmakers who voted in favor of the resolution was Kentucky Rep. James Comer, who accused the Bidens of peddling “access to the highest levels of government to enrich themselves.”
“If the Democrats vote against this resolution, then they are continuing in their coordinated effort to shield a potentially compromised President from necessary congressional oversight,” Comer said. “We must shed light on the Biden family’s international business schemes to determine if there is a national security threat.”
Meanwhile, Democratic New York Rep. called the resolution a “nakedly partisan effort” and accused Republicans of being “obsessed” with Hunter.
Hunter has been involved in shady business dealings and is already under federal criminal investigation after banks flagged four of his transactions as “potential criminal activity,” including a suspicious deposit of $100,000 that came from China.
Additionally, a 2018 voicemail was also discovered recently on Hunter’s laptop that reveals that President Joe Biden knew about his son’s corrupt criminal activity.
Following the audio leak, several House Republicans said that they are looking for ways to investigate the Biden family’s business ties to China, including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.
“We have uncovered some answers, but many questions remain,” McCarthy wrote. “In November, the American people will decide whether they accept being told what information they are allowed to know by a colluding media, including who is making policy decisions for this country and for whose interests. A Republican majority will be committed to uncovering the facts the Democrats, Big Tech and the legacy media have suppressed.”
To make matters worse, Hunter’s business partner, Devon Archer, was recently sentenced for his role in a $60 million scheme to defraud a Native American tribe. The president’s son was not involved in the scheme, but it does paint a picture of what kind of people the Bidens surround them with.
