For its AI division, Microsoft hires the co-founder of DeepMind

Microsoft has added a new member to their staff. The co-founder of the British AI lab DeepMind has been hired to lead their new AI section.

Google took out Mustafa Suleyman’s company, which he helped start more than ten years ago. It will be joined with another technology to become Google DeepMind. DeepMind is now a big part of Google’s AI branch.

In a blog post, the CEO of Microsoft said that they were hiring the British AI pioneer to be the CEO of their new company, Microsoft AI. As many other tech companies have seen, Microsoft has been a star in AI. However, this new technology has a lot to learn and a lot of moving parts.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is now a big deal in the tech industry, and many people and businesses are already using it. A lot of big tech companies are rushing to make their own AI divisions or programs.

In an explanation, Microsoft said that adding Mustafa would help them speed up their work and general progress in AI. CoPilot is Microsoft’s main AI tool. It can help you write emails, make presentations, and summarize text.

Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, said, “I’ve known Mustafa for a few years and have a lot of respect for him as the founder of both DeepMind and Inflection and as a visionary, product maker, and builder of pioneering teams that go after big goals.”

“This infusion of new talent will enable us to speed up our pace yet again,” he said. Nadella went on to say that adding Mustafa and some of his skilled team members would help them quickly take their AI plans to the next level.

He helped to create both DeepMind and Inflection AI. Microsoft and Nvidia, a company that makes chips, have invested in both of them.
