Former WH Press Secretary Throws Biden and Dems Under the Bus

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is putting the blame on President Joe Biden for the Democratic Party’s possible defeat in the midterms.

Speaking to Chuck Todd on MSNBC, Psaki admitted that the continued economic downturn and the rise in crime are hurting Biden and the Democrats.

“If it is a referendum on the president, they [the Democrats] will lose, and they know that,” Psaki said. “That’s where they see his vulnerability.”

Psaki, infamously known for saying that she would “circle back” when she didn’t know the answer to a question, also said that the Dems know they are vulnerable ahead of the midterm elections in November.

“The economy is hanging over everything, but you have [to] look at state-by-state factors, and crime is a huge issue in the Pennsylvania race,” she said.

Democrats are fearing that the infighting and dissatisfaction with the Biden administration could cost them their majority in both houses of Congress during the midterms.

A Times/Siena College poll recently found that 52 percent of voters said that they trust Republicans to manage the economy, while only 38 percent put their faith in Democrats.

A new poll also found that Democrats are increasingly rejecting President Joe Biden as the party’s 2024 presidential nominee as his popularity continues to plummet, according to a poll by ABC News and the Washington Post.

The new poll found that 56 percent of Democratic voters said Biden should not mount a re-election run, while only 35 percent said that he should. It also found that only 39 percent approve of Biden’s performance, while 53 percent disapprove.

More and more Democrats are also making the switch from blue to red because of President Joe Biden’s failures.

In Pennsylvania, for instance, more than 39,000 Democrats have switched their party registration in 2022, compared to the measly 12,000 voters who have switched to the Democratic Party from the GOP.

Additionally, a CNN/SSRS poll found that only 35 percent of voters of color approve of Biden’s performance, with 64 percent saying he’s been off the mark — which shows an alarming precedent for the Democratic party, as these demographic groups are key for them.
