The husband of Georgia’s fiery Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene requested a divorce on Wednesday, asserting that their relationship is “irretrievably broken.”
According to details in the Floyd County, Georgia Superior Court’s divorce complaint, the couple had reportedly previously separated. Hearing this news is quite upsetting.
However, marriage is challenging. There are many difficulties involved in attempting to live together as two flawed people in the same house. The failure of a marriage is nonetheless devastating.
According to Bloomberg, “Perry Greene, who married Marjorie Taylor in 1995 when they were both attending the University of Georgia, sought an equitable split of assets and debt, as well as that any subsequent filings in the case be sealed to safeguard the couple’s anonymity.”
Since Greene has long defended conservative principles, he has been a primary target of cruel people on the far left. Greene is a prominent supporter of former President Donald Trump.
Marjorie’s husband praised her as a “wonderful” mother and friend in a message he released of his own.
He said, “Our family is the most important thing we’ve done.” She went on to say how they will keep their attention on our three amazing children, their future endeavors, and their relationship even while we follow separate paths.
There’s no question in my mind that the extreme left is using Greene’s personal tragedy to attack him for being a hypocrite, but that’s simply because the left is overflowing with resentment and hatred. You only need to glance at social media to understand what I mean. We should simply keep to ourselves and let them handle things.
She stated, “I’ll always be grateful for how great of a dad he is to our children.”
A person doesn’t necessarily believe that every union is flawless or will last forever just because they support conventional values like the union of a man and a woman. But it is the aim we should be aiming for.
After all, a healthy society’s foundation is a conventional marriage. In order to stop it, the left is feverishly attempting to do so. They may then raise future generations to blindly trust the government rather than strive for self-sufficiency within their own family units after this is over.
