Liberal news anchor Catherine Herridge admitted that Democratic New York Rep. Dan Goldman lied about Devon Archer’s testimony in the Hunter Biden case.
“You’ll recall that Democrat Congressman Dan Goldman said that Archer testified that it was the illusion of access to Joe Biden that Hunter Biden was offering to these clients, but in fact, when you look at the transcript, what you see is that phrase ‘illusion of access’ is in Dan Goldman’s question,” Herridge said on CBS News.

Per the transcript, the term “illusion of access” was in Goldman’s QUESTION to Archer, NOT his actual testimony.

“It’s actually not what Devon Archer testified to. He says ‘yes, but that’s not quite fair. This was about showing there was the signal that there’s influence and access here,’” she continued. “So, there’s a lot here in addition to the emails as well.”
This comes after Goldman attempted to cover for President Joe Biden by saying Archer, Hunter’s longtime business partner, sold “the illusion of access” to then-Vice President Biden.
Goldman, who was on the panel during Archer’s testimony, said that there is no proof linking Biden to his son’s shady business dealings. According to the New York Democrat, Hunter put Joe Biden on speaker phone during meetings with business associates, but it was “part of the daily conversations” between the two.
Many left-leaning news networks, such as CNN, ran with the congressman’s comments and published several puff pieces for the corrupt Biden family.
“Devon Archer told the House Oversight Committee on Monday that his former business partner, Hunter Biden, was selling the ‘illusion’ of access to his father,” CNN reported. “The source also reiterated that Archer provided no evidence connecting President Joe Biden to any of his son’s foreign business dealings.”
The House Oversight Committee, however, has recently released the transcript that proved that Hunter put his father on the phone to sell the “Biden Brand.”
“Joe Biden was dialed into a dinner in Paris with a French energy company and in China with Jonathan Li, the CEO of BHR. Then-VP Biden also had coffee with Li in Beijing and even wrote a letter of recommendation for college for Li’s daughter,” the committee said in its report. “Archer confirmed Joe Biden was referred to as ‘my guy’ by Hunter Biden.”
