Musk Drops Major Bomb on Big Tech For Censoring Speech of Americans

Elon Musk, a self-made billionaire, has hinted that he is working on a new social media network that will allow users to express themselves freely.

Musk is considering a new social networking site, but no details were given.

The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, has recently aimed at Twitter Inc. in a series of tweets. Following a survey of his fans asking if they believed the social network adhered to free-speech ideals, Zuckerberg announced that he would seriously consider creating a new platform.

“Fact-checkers” on the left are frequently accused of restricting American citizens’ views and expression via social media.

In other cases, you may even face suspension or expulsion for daring to express opinions that run counter to the liberal narrative promoted by the media.

Musk, who has been outspoken in his criticism of Joe Biden and his government, conducted an informal poll on Twitter. “Democracy cannot exist without free speech.” Do you think Twitter strictly follows this rule?”

“Is there a need for a new platform?” he inquired.

It was clear from the responses of the vast majority of Americans that Twitter does not adhere to the fundamental concept of free expression.

The survey conducted by Tesla CEO Elon Musk garnered 2 million replies. Over 70% of individuals polled say Twitter is doing an awful job.

Musk said, “The repercussions of this poll will be significant.” “Please use caution before casting your ballot.”

Another survey states, “Failing to adhere to free speech rules significantly weakens democracy since Twitter functions as the de facto public town square. Is there anything I can do?”

Political commentator Mike Cernovich’s response, was, “Buy Twitter.”

“Twitter respects your freedom of expression if you’re a lefty making murder threats against conservatives or planning riots. Twitter also supports the freedom of expression for media hoaxes, as when every major outlet framed an innocent Covington high school student. “..

“Doesn’t seem very balanced,” Musk retorted.

Taking a page from Trump’s book?

It’s not like Musk is the first person to start up a social networking site.

As part of the Trump Media and Technology Group, Donald Trump founded Truth Social in February. It’s been over a year since Donald Trump was suspended from Twitter.

In an interview with CNBC on Monday, social media analyst Matt Navarra said affluent individuals with contentious social media presences that get them in trouble are increasingly looking to develop their platforms. By developing their social network, they can create the content control standards that they frequently break on Twitter and Facebook.”

There are also new platforms such as Rumble, Parler, and Gettr attempting to lure individuals away from social media networks such as Facebook and Instagram.

After reports that Parler was used to promote violence during the Jan. 6 riots, Apple pulled the app from its App Store. This feature was reinstated in April due to improvements to the company’s hate speech detection and moderation capabilities.
