Traffic congestion and miles-long jams were brought on by a climate protest that shut down the Nevada highway leading to Burning Man.
They opposed the use of single-use plastic and private jets by festival goers.
Nevada’s Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Police Department rangers broke through the roadblock and started detaining protesters immediately.
It looked like six protesters from Extinction Rebellion and Seven Circles had locked themselves onto the trailer and were fighting with people attempting to enter Burning Man on Sunday.
The climate activists were taken into custody. One tribal police exited the truck and told the woman to “stop resisting” arrest by forcing her to the ground.
A Nevada Ranger spoke to a reporter at the location, explaining they received a 911 call saying someone in the crowd was planning to shoot the protestors blocking the road.
As they were being driven away, the eco-extremists screamed in despair, and others sobbed, saying they were not being violent.

One individual may be seen in an online video warning activists that they were on “public property.” One of the protestors gets in another man’s face and says, “This is a democracy, we have a right to protest,” as a lady is also seen chaining herself to the trailer.
She advises the demonstrator to “lock in and shut up” as she did, but he continues to reproach the irate driver, claiming that “every change in society came from civil disobedience.”
The Extinction Rebellion has not yet made an official comment regarding the demonstration. Seven Circles also claim their goal is to draw attention to capitalism’s failure to address the climate and ecological crisis.
The time has come, as declared by Extinction Rebellion protester Mun Chong. The political influence that Burning Man should have is comparable to what Woodstock had on the counterculture.
They also argued that system transformation must begin at home. They want private jets to be banned right away since they are the easiest target.
On the other hand, the video was widely applauded, with both Americans and Britons commending the police for how they handled the recent global mayhem caused by climate demonstrators.
