NFL Star Speaks Out Against Biological Males Competing in Women’s Sports

Former NFL player Marcellus Wiley has spoken out against the participation of biological men in women’s sports.

Wiley argued that allowing transgender women to compete against biological women is unfair and could put athletes at risk of injury. He is also concerned about the potential impact on women’s sports and the opportunities available to female athletes.

In an Instagram video posted Sunday, Wiley shared her thoughts on the matter, reciting the following caption. “I don’t have an issue with transgender people, but I do have an issue with athletes who are transgender women trying to compete against biological women. Not against the Wiley Women! Why can’t guys transition into women really empower women by competing against men?

Wiley began the video by saying, “I have no issues with transsexuals. I have an issue with transgender athletes trying to participate by switching from male to female and now playing with women.”

Wiley continued, “and I will say it. You can talk about Dave Chappelle all you want. I am very clear on this. You can be transgender. You can be the friend, but I’m damned if a boy at birth turns into a girl and tries to compete with my daughters. She’s not out there. We went out.

Dave Chappelle had been embroiled in controversy surrounding his comments about the transgender community. In his Netflix special “The Closer,” Chappelle made several jokes and comments that were criticized by members of the LGBTQ+ community as transphobic and offensive. Chappelle defended her comments, arguing that she was not targeting the transgender community but instead was using humor to address a variety of social and political issues. Many people have defended Chappelle and his right to express her views.

“Don’t make it a human rights issue, it’s a biological issue. Simple as that. Trust me, I’m a man,” Wiley continued in his speech.

Wiley concluded: “Like it’s me Marcellus, and tomorrow it’s Martha, I change my sex, and now I’m a woman, you know what I would try to do? Compete against the guys. Why? Because that empowers.”
