The former president’s brother, Malik “Roy” Obama, is progressive. However, Malik is not to the left of Karl Marx, despite the fact that his brother is a “community organizer who became a Senator and then President.”
The organization named after their father, Barack Sr., was started by Roy in order to provide relief to the underdeveloped Kenyan city where he was raised.
In contrast to his Saul Alinsky-loving brother, who later emigrated to the US and naturalized as a citizen, he has maintained these conventional beliefs and a realistic outlook on life, making him a staunch MAGA Republican.
He, the older brother, really grew up in Kenya as opposed to Hawaii. He, therefore, embraces conventional values instead of hippy ones and has a somewhat more grounded knowledge of the world.
This is what the DC Enquirer said about Malik in a recent piece, stating that:
He claimed that after presenting his plan to buy power transformers and provide local kids with scholarships, Barack promptly knocked it down, essentially asking him to stop.
He also disclosed that one of the main reasons he “felt like a Republican” was because of his brother’s rejection of conventional beliefs.
Further, Malik has supported President Trump ever since the MAGA candidate ran for office in 2016.
Malik maintains his ideals despite coming under intense criticism from the hypocritical fake news for being the brother of such a fervent leftist and also retaining his ardent support for the 45th President of the United States.
He and his brother hold very different political beliefs, but that hasn’t prevented him from starting his most recent fully-fledged MAGA movement.
And even though Trump is no longer in government, Malik is still supporting MAGA politicians and opposing his brother by utilizing the family name.
Most recently, he advocated for Doug Mastriano, a Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania and a veteran of the US Army, on Twitter.
Even better, Malik has criticized Barack’s extremist, far-left agenda many times this year. Obama was actually insulted by him, and he gave his reasoning for “ditching him for President Trump,” saying:
“I stuck with Barack Obama all through his presidency, until I realized he was all about himself.”
At that point, I abandoned him to President Trump, since we, his Kenyan family, meant nothing to him.
