A NYC man suspected of stalking sleeping homeless men, allegedly killing at least two and wounding three others was arrested early Tuesday.
“Early this AM, law enforcement arrested the suspect in Washington, DC. He is currently being interviewed at our Homicide Branch. Additional information will be forthcoming. Thanks to the community for all your tips,” DC police tweeted.
On March 3, the suspect allegedly shot and wounded a man in Washington D.C’s Northeast section around 4 a.m while a second man was reportedly wounded just before 1:30a.m on March 8.

However, the horrible crime didn’t end there after the police and firefighters found a dead man inside a burning tent around 3 a.m. on March 9. Reports later revealed that the man died of gunshot wounds and multiple stab wounds on his body.
On Saturday, another man sleeping on the street in Manhattan was shot in his right arm around 4:30 a.m. while he was sleeping hours after the suspect arrived at New York City. However, the victims screamed, scaring away the suspect so he took off.
Moreover, the killing didn’t end. 90 minutes later, the suspect fatally shot another man on Lafayette Street in SoHo and was found by the authorities in his sleeping bag before 5 p.m. on Saturday.
“He looked around. He made sure no one was there. And he intentionally took the life of an innocent person,” Adams said.
