Poll: Voters Dismiss The Validity Of The American Dream

New poll shows that only 3 in 10 Americans believe that President Joe Biden is handling the economy well.

According to the survey conducted by the AP-NORC Center, only 30 percent of respondents said that Biden’s economy is good, while 69 percent said otherwise. One percent were undecided or unsure.

The poll also found that only 34 percent approved of the president’s management of the economy, with a 64 percent majority saying they disapproved.

Democrats gave Biden low grades as well. Only 60 percent of blue voters approved of his economy, while 39 percent were against it.

Compared to older Democrats, younger Democrats were also more likely to disagree with his economic policies. 68 percent of younger Democrats described the economy as poor, compared with 39 percent of Democrats age 45 and older.

Multiple other surveys have echoed this sentiment, including one from the Associated Press, which showed that only 21 percent of adults express confidence in Biden’s performance. Among them, 36 percent are Democrats, whereas only 7 percent are Republicans.

Meanwhile, only 24 percent of the population looks at the economy in a positive light, with a staggering 76 percent considering it in a state of decline.

“Biden’s handling of specific issues: Negative views on national economy, gun policy, and immigration; only a third approve. Slightly more positive on student loans,” the AP noted of the president’s performance.

The results come as Biden is pushing his so-called “Bidenomics” on the American people ahead of the 2024 presidential election. “Bidenomics is working,” the president boldly claimed in Chicago recently.

However, critics have blasted “Bidenomics” for having little to no effect on hard-working Americans. The president’s uninspired economic plan will also cause high mortgage rates, skyrocketing inflation, collapsed banks, expensive groceries, record-high rent, and dwindling retirement accounts.

“President Biden boasts about ‘Bidenomics,’ despite overseeing skyrocketing inflation and record high gas prices,” the House Republicans’ X account posted.

The White House has since sought credit for an unemployment rate that’s near a 50-year low, a robust job market, including 13.5 million jobs added under the Biden administration, and annual inflation that is down to 3.7 percent from a 40-year high of 9.1 percent in June 2022.
