Rep Ilhan Omar Slammed Over Tweet About Christians

A backlash over Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s criticism of Christians humming a worship hymn mid-flight erupted during the Easter weekend.

Rep. Ilhan Omar, the Somalian immigrant who became a U.S. representative after fleeing her home country in search of a better life, condemns Americans for following in the footsteps of their forebears.

Ilhan posted a video of Christians on a plane praying for Easter, with the accompanying message:

“Next time I fly, I think my family and I should have a prayer session. What do you believe will happen after all of this?”

Georgia Rep. Vernon Jones quickly responded to Ilhan and slammed her for her anti-Christian views, saying:

“Ilhan, why are you so enraged by Christianity? If the religious liberty we have in the United States bothers you, you are free to return to Somalia, Sudan, or wherever you came from. Take your brother with you as well.”

One of the other Republican candidates, Jose Castillo, tweeted “In America, Muslims may & do pray in public. If she wants a country where Christians aren’t permitted to do the same.” Alluding to the strongly Muslim nation of Somalia, where Ilhan hails from.

“Qatar, a country you’re quite acquainted with, plays Islamic prayers on the intercom before takeoff on their aircraft,” another Republican, Cicely Davis, tweeted. On the displays are the coordinates for Mecca and a specific prayer location. It won’t be an issue. The problem is that you despise Jews, Christians, and a sizable portion of the Muslim population.

According to PolitiFact, political editor Kevin Diaz of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune said this about Ilhan Omar’s rumored marriage to her brother: “Take your brother with you.”

Circumstantial evidence points to a member of Congress marrying her brother, but there is no proof that she did it.

When the Star-Tribune published a June 23 piece, it said that it could neither confirm nor deny the assertion that Omar is his sibling, PolitiFact reported. According to Snopes.com, “the evidence collected thus far is not conclusive enough to come down on one side.” When it came to the 2018 elections, PolitiFact could not come to a judgment.

So it may be accurate, or it could be false. According to the Daily Mail, a DNA test was performed on Ilhan and the guy whom some believe is her brother, and the results showed:

Ilhan Omar’s long-standing assertions that she married her brother to avoid U.S. immigration regulations may have been confirmed by a convincing DNA test.

According to the test, Omar and her second husband, Ahmed Elmi, are 99.99% likely to be related.

An Endeavor DNA Laboratories report does not identify Omar or Elmi but instead refers to them as “Sibling 1” and “Sibling 2,” respectively. According to DailyMail.co, Omar is the first of his siblings.

Regardless of whether she is in an incest marriage, Omar’s tweets clarify that she is anti-Christian.

Instagram user Jack Jensz Jr., whose guitar is shown in the video, has been identified by TMZ. It has been alleged that Jensz is the founder of the Kingdom Realm Ministries. This organization has purportedly been going over Europe to help refugees leaving Ukraine due to Russia’s war on their nation.

The fact that the congresswoman was criticizing not only somebody else’s religion but also a man who is helping victims of war speaks volumes of her personality. I say she doesn’t deserve respect.
