Tesla Calls Back Almost ALL of Their Cars?!

After other recalls, Tesla, the company that makes electric cars, has officially announced yet another one. It was just reported that Tesla is recalling more than 2 million cars, almost all of which were sold in the United States. This is because the warning lights on the instrument panel are too small.

Tesla has been getting a lot of bad press because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has started a lot of investigations. Documents that were made public on Friday say that the recall will be done with a software update. People say that the warning lights’ font is too small and doesn’t meet government safety standards. This might make them tough to read and see, which could raise the danger of an accident.

There is a recall for the new Cybertruck 2024, the Model Y (2019–2024), the Model S (2012–2023), and the Model X (2016–2023). Tesla said that owners will get a letter about the software update starting March 30, and they said that they have already started sending them out. There have been no reports of crashes that were linked to the warning light.

The NHTSA has been looking into Tesla and checks have led to several recalls. One of these included a software update that fixed a problem that made it harder for drivers to stay alert while using Tesla’s autopilot feature. There was an investigation into this case, and it was found that the Autopilot function caused several accidents.

More than a million Tesla cars were also recalled because of problems with the automatic steering and the door latch settings. Many reports were made about the automatic driving feature. Some people had to have their cars towed, had their cars stop in the middle of roads and block traffic, and were not able to turn their cars.

The recall on the door latch was made because the lock didn’t stay in place during an accident, which let the door open. These recalls led to a more in-depth study that found a number of problems with Tesla cars. Thousands of Tesla owners have complained about these problems.
