Texas Rancher Finds Migrants Hiding On Her Property

A Texas Rancher reportedly found illegal migrants hiding on her property amid a massive migrant wave hitting the border.

During an interview on “Fox & Friends First” on Monday, Stephanie Crisp-Canales shared how her family has been affected by the border crisis and called out the Biden administration for not helping residents being impacted each day.

“We have had young adults come through our property in their twenties. And in the past month, we have seen many that are juveniles, 17 or younger. And it’s scary that these cartels are promising these juveniles a free passage over here. And they’re not telling them that they’re going to be crammed in a semi-trailer with 100 other people left to die,” Crisp-Canales told hosts Todd Piro and Carley Shimkus.

She described having individuals on her property as “very unnerving,” adding that the crisis that has directly affected her family was an “invasion.”

“We’ve had several bailouts lately in this heat that were there just behind our house, hiding in the brush. And we actually had our sheriff’s department call us late one day. It’s 108 degrees out. There were three illegals hiding in the brush near our house,” the ranch owner said. “We are being invaded. It is an invasion, and it has been an invasion. And the federal government is doing absolutely nothing to help except welcome these individuals with open arms.”

The U.S. has been seeing massive migrant numbers after President Joe Biden announced that he would be lifting “Title 42,” a controversial border policy implemented by former President Donald Trump back in March 2020 that allowed the U.S. Border Patrol to turn migrants away.

In response, several county judges have asked Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to dedicate more resources toward addressing illegal immigrant activity at the U.S.-Mexico border amid what they said was lackluster support from the federal government.

“We want America to know that this is real,” Kinney County Judge Tully Shahan told reporters in Bracketville. “The Biden administration won’t do a thing about it. They could stop this thing this hour. They could stop it now. They don’t have the guts.”

Some officials said that the swarm of illegal immigrants has already resulted in property damage, stolen vehicles, gun violence, and other issues resulting from migrants crossing into their counties, many of which are desolate and have sparse populations.

“In my community, we have less than 1,000 residents. The thousand residents everyday live in fear of the invasion,” said Dale Lynn Carruthers, the county judge for Terrell County. “We are doing the best we can with limited manpower. Terrell County has the least to offer… but we have a lot of border coverage.”
