Teens raiding a Walgreens and a shoplifter casually walking out of a Ross clothing store with numerous pairs of shoes have been captured on video in California.
The scene where security and other daytime customers stood by as a group of coordinated shoplifters shamelessly stole products at Walgreens was a shocking event.
On Sunday – A video tweeted by Libs of Tiktok showed that the Walgreens in the San Francisco Bay Area was the location of the crime.

The video starts with three shoplifters stealing products from shelves protected by thick plastic flaps, but the barriers do nothing to dissuade the thieves, who are all dressed in pink and grey coats and wearing face masks.
Soon after, a security guard enters the picture, but she does not approach the team, preferring to remain at the end of the aisle and observe. It is suspected that the security guard then calls for reinforcements.
The thieves remained unphased and continued down other aisles, adding their bags as they browsed through the shelves. Interestingly, one of the shoplifters is seen going for the Walgreens exit, but she turns around and proceeds to another ledge, where she adds to her haul.
Other Incidents in San Francisco
Another video shared on Sunday by Libs from Tik Tok shows shoplifters at another pharmacy store. The caption “Live from San Francisco’s hellhole” appears next to a video. However, the shop in issue has not been identified.
Identical to the last footage, the two masked guys make their way down the aisle. They quickly got access to anything concealed by plastic coverings. When they both attempt to open the covers, they seem to have broken them. They then transport their possessions using backpacks and plastic bags.
Someone attempts to trip one of them on their way out, but it fails.
Who’s to Blame?
Fingers have been pointed at the security guard for not stopping the crime on site. But perhaps, any violent engagement may have been detrimental to the innocent customers present and thought waiting for backup was more rational. However, it does not change that this incident led to some shoppers losing their sense of security in buying.
Many have seen several viral videos of individuals stealing in the Bay Area and other regions of California. In line with this, Mayor London Breed, a far-left San Francisco politician, delivered a rousing address in December in which she denounced the “bulls**t” crime that had “devastated our city.” Additionally, she said she would slash $120 million from police budgets over the next two years.
