VP Harris Playing a Long Game To Become President at The Expense of Biden

Vice President Kamala Harris is reportedly using President Joe Biden as a “meal ticket” to a potential presidency, according to a former Democratic Leader.

During an interview on Monday’s “Fox & Friends First,” former Democratic Senator Gloria Romero shared her disappointment over the Biden-Harris administration.

“Let’s face it, Joe Biden is Kamala Harris’s meal ticket to potentially the presidency,” Romero told co-host Todd Piro. “She needs to go ahead and to keep putting out there for the public and especially potential other opponents that Joe Biden is running because the longer that people can believe that myth, the greater the opportunity is that no other contender like Newsom or Buttigieg change or even Hillary Clinton might step into the fray.”

Furthermore, a report from the Washington Examiner found that several lobbyists under the Biden administration were turning more to Harris’s office to influence White House policies.

Several groups and organizations have also contracted lobbyists to influence Harris’s office. Among those lobbying the vice president and her aides were representatives of the medical sector, tech firms, and even energy groups.

“In numerous cases, the issues align with the vice president’s policy interests on broadband access, voting rights, or black maternal healthcare,” the Washington Examiner reported. “The Immigration Hub, an organization backed by Laurene Powell Jobs’s sprawling Emerson Collective philanthropy and led by a former Harris aide, has focused on a dizzying range of issues, from a Justice Department counterespionage program to Title 42 exceptions for Ukrainians to abortion care.”

This comes after Harris told NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday that she would “proudly” run with Biden in 2024 if he seeks re-election.

“The president has been very clear that he intends to run again,” Harris told host Chuck Todd. “And if he does, I will be running with him proudly.”

The vice president also mentioned Americans “demand justice” on Trump despite looming questions surrounding the FBI’s raid on former President Donald Trump’s private residence at Mar-a-Lago last month.

“I think many of us, probably most of us, are appalled, whatever we think of Donald Trump, of what happened to the president, the former president of the United States, so I am disenchanted with that,” she said. “And I think that’s potentially going to always be the case in our country that people are going to demand justice and they rightly do.”
