A drunk guest at a wedding nearly set the venue on fire in a now-viral video.
In the chaotic clip, a man named either Craig or Greg is seen haphazardly dancing around with celebration sparklers in both hands at the newlywed’s barnyard nuptials.
But as onlookers praise him for his moves, the carouser accidentally set a pampas grass centerpiece aflame.
“Ah, fire! Fire!” screamed freaked-out guests while the guest continued dancing.
But when folks began frantically scrambling for water to extinguish the fire, the unidentified man fearlessly waves his arm over the open flame and knocks the burning floral piece to the ground.
Fortunately, the rowdy reveler managed to stomp out the blaze without catching fire. He then resumes grooving until a woman in a hat snaps at the man, instructing him to settle down, which brings his spirited partying to a stop.
The viral video, which has garnered more than 9.1 million views on Twitter, has received some wild responses, with many hailing him as their hammered hero.
“The slight delay in him after turning to see the fire, only to continue dancing for another beat or two, before he starts to put out the fire, absolutely kills me. Brain took a few seconds to comprehend what was happening lol,” tweeted an impressed watcher.
“Dude was vibing; cool and collected, and he handled the trouble and got back to partying. No need to squash the mood. The problematic element here was the incredibly stupid idea to have sparklers for drunk people at a barn,” another cheerer of the man wrote.
However, some agree with the lady in a hat that the guy should have been scolded, including one user who claimed to have had a similar experience with the same wedding guest.
“I swear that we sat beside this couple at a concert in the first row. After drunken dancing for three songs and repeated requests by the headliner to sit down so they did not disrupt others and continue to fall on us, she had them removed. Thank you,” they said.
“See, I agree with the lady. He needed to be checked slightly, take a breather and then get back to the festivities. Dude literally almost burned the whole barn down trying to play it off!” tweeted another.
