WH Considering Sending Gas Rebate Cards To Americans

The rise in gas prices has been accompanied by a decline in Biden’s approval ratings, which are based on various variables that are out of the government’s control. As COVID-19 limits were released in 2021, gas prices skyrocketed ahead of supply, and now the country is experiencing recessions because of Biden’s ill-advised decisions.

According to reports, the White House considers gas rebates for U.S. citizens.

In an interview with Fox Business, a White House official said that the administration has not ruled out the distribution of gas rebate cards. Cardholders, many of whom are struggling to make ends meet as petrol prices rise to the level of a luxury commodity, might theoretically benefit from these cards.

“The president has made it plain that he is open to examine all possibilities and hear any suggestions that will assist cut gas costs for the American people,” the person told FOX Business.

“No decisions have been taken,” a government official said.

The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline jumped 10 cents to $5.01 per gallon last week, a new record high.

On the other hand, some states’ averages increased by more than double that amount in the same week.

According to AAA, prices rose at least 21 cents per gallon in the top ten states for the seven days ending Monday. The price increase in West Virginia was the most pronounced.

During a press conference on Saturday, President Biden blamed the Ukraine conflict for the quick rise in the price of oil and gas.

In the press pool following President Joe Biden, a reporter inquired about the president’s opinion on the rising national average price of gasoline. Joe Biden blamed the military assault on Ukraine for the crisis.

President  Biden said, “It’s awful what the conflict in Ukraine is doing.”

Later, the president made clear the government’s determination to draw from the United States’ oil reserves.

The rising cost of gasoline has put a burden on the budgets of many Americans. As proposed by certain Democratic politicians, direct rebate payments to citizens may be a solution. At this critical juncture, Americans are looking to President Biden for innovative ideas to alleviate the burden of rising prices for people throughout the globe, especially in the country itself.
